I have friends that live in Venice, CA and it’s always so great to see them. As ex-pat new yorkers I miss them but love that they have moved to L.A. so that I can visit them! When I flew to NZ in March I stopped over each way overnight to break up the trip and as stressed as I was working late nights right up until the morning of, it wasn’t until I was in the cab going to their house that I realized I was on vacation and now it was time to relax. Sunshine, Palm Trees and colourful bungalows everywhere – how does anybody get any work done?? Outside of New York, it’s one of my favourite cities. I get up early and sneak out to Intelligentsia coffee, maybe have some lunch at Gjelina’s, ride bikes over on Venice Boardwalk, and of course a little shopping. Wasteland has been one of my favourite stores to go to with their mix of vintage and designer it’s right up my alley, so I’m naturally super excited to announce they are our newest stockist! You’ll find the Katie double zipper clutch at their flagship store in Melrose, in colours exclusive to them.
