Insta(gram) Sewing

I’ve had a ton of projects pop into my brain and I’ve been testing them all one by one.  As per my instagram here is the evidence that I haven’t been eating croissants and lying around in the park (much)…

Testing out some neon paints that made every other colour seem dull in comparison

messing around with two-tone on the Katie Clutch

Threadzzzzz

Dopp Kits!

Fixing a strap to a new batch of duffel totes

Cutting out facing for the army totes

Getting all Floral with some aprons

How bout some camo?

Curing a belt for an order

I definitely update instagram more than anything else, so if you want to see what I’m up to and where I’ve been, my handle is reiddamnit

Brooklyn Magazine and reid.damnit

Super excited to make my first foray into a PRINT EDITORIAL! Brooklyn Magazine is one of my favourites, not just for including me in their latest stylish edition but because the contents are all BK based.  Helping you and me to discover new future favourites.  The latest edition I rushed out to get and then proceeded to read from cover to cover – as you should do…Link to the online editorial HERE and go visit places like Bird for your free copy.

Beltzzzz

Belts are ready, and photographed!  Aside from the nude all of them are hand painted by me.  Cow hide, 42″ long brass buckle, meant to be twisted and tied.  Going up in the store soon!

Belt it!

I’m very excited to announce that there will be some belts added to the FW 11/12 range! Yes! Belts! So far turquoise, nude and black, but I kind of have a hankering for magenta and emerald.  I think it’s so nice in the dead of winter to have a pop of colour to break it up.
