I happen to be in love with using things in unexpected ways and settings.  Cue Werner Reiterer who has been putting up chandeliers in public spaces, I mean how cool is that?!

Then these cool bookshelves placed in unused or damaged phone booths in NYC by John Locke.  A true definition of a public library….

You know when you see a face in ordinary things? Like electrical outlets to me always seem to be giving a surprised expression.  Check this video from Nikita Nomerz for the below photo.

My favourite Spaniard aka Sergio de Luz gave me a light tent for photographing product (I don’t know what the official name is…) for Christmas.  It had a tripod and everything and I cannot tell you how excited I was to use it.  I thought once I had the right light and proper equipment it would be a breeze…not so, it took me three attempts over 3 days to get it right.  One day I had it pitched too high, the next day it was overcast, and then third time was a charm and I got my shots I wanted this morning.   It was not as simple as I thought, but I’m really pleased with the outcome and now that I kind of know how it should be done the next time (fingers crossed) will be a cinch.

So, I have yet to make all the bags in all the colours but all styles will come in any of the ones photographed below.

 Amazing what using the right equipment will give you! They are a far superior jump on all the product shots I’ve taken in the past and I wanted to continue to take photos of random things in the tent because they looked so good!
