I’m very excited to announce that Fort Greene, Brooklyn will be the first to see the FW 10/11 drop of reid.damnit bags. Beautifully calm and serene boutique Thistle & Clover run by Camilla Gale and Rand Niederhoffer were the first to see the new collection and will be the first to stock up. Delicate jewelry, muted Fall knits, silky dresses and personal favourite footwear Marais flats.
And all I can think of when I think of the name of their boutique is Joan Jett and The Black Hearts singing Crimson and Clover, which isn’t such a bad way to remember where you need to dust off your credit card…

So much of my design is to put unexpected elements together. In that sense I love this cover of Radiohead’s Creep by the Scala Girls Choir.
A lip smacking 40% off of all Errant range – HERE!
To quote Ronald Reagan “Surround yourself with the best people you can find…”- once again I totally lucked out with a fantastic team to work on my Fall/Winter Lookbook shoot. Much much love to all that worked on it!! Shot in my hood of Williamsburg, imagine if you will the song below playing as this shoot is going down.

Geeeeeeeet ready, this is the first photo in of ‘Finders Keepers’
This collection I found hardware/zippers/thread/bindings all in places I hadn’t considered before. Finding bindings in a shoe repair outlet, thread from an old-school tailor on the L.E.S. and swivel snaps meant for horse leads. It’s all about opening your eyes and looking deep into places unknown.
Shot in Williamsburg with a salute to NY, my original catalyst for starting the whole line with people who continue to be my muse. As you’ll see each piece has a christian name – these are for my friends who unknowingly provide me with inspiration. Get ready to meet Laura/Katie/Jessica and Ramiro.

We shot F/W out and about in Williamsburg today and I feel so lucky to have such a great wealth of talented friends who for a dozen oysters, truffle fries and several beers (mmm Five Leaves) will help me out. A big big thank you and I can’t wait to show you how it came out.
In between holding reflectors and lenses I played around with my camera.
Wow, Refinery29 gave reid.damnit the honour of including us in their top 10 picks for best Etsy Finds. In with a good crowd – I heart Norwegian Wood, Erika Weiner and Black Market Baby. Read all about it here..
I read Sea of Shoes blog and came across today’s post which was about Benjamin Hubert’s jewelry – her choice, big ole cockroach necklace. Gurl obviously doesn’t live in NYC and hasn’t had the pleasure of a live one in her apt or blocking her way as she crosses the street…
