Re-purposed Army Duffle Bags

I’m kind of excited about this one!  I’m always on the lookout for a suitable heavy duty tote that I can take to the beach, sling to a bbq and leave on the grass, do my grocery shopping or take to a picnic.  So with that in mind I came up with my own.  Army Duffle Bags which are humongous and literally on me when slung over my shoulder nearly reach the floor were the starting point.  I downsized it and added my signature leather straps.

Bags are in original condition, complete with bleach stains, doodlings and stamps.  I just finished making this one before I have to run to work and couldn’t wait until morning to wait until the lighting is better in my apt. to take better pictures.  Buuuuutt, here it is!!  It’ll be up in my Etsy Store soon! It goes without saying, but very very limited edition, as all are one of a kind – as I find them duffles.

Great idea! These are very cool. I love recycling old stuff into something new.
