BOW TIES FOR ALL

BOW TIE

I was visiting friends for Thanksgiving last year in Pittsburgh, USA and we invariably ended up shopping. One of the coolest places was a vintage store that my friends who had arrived earlier had already pillaged. Luckily they overlooked the best part of the store – in my mind – a fishbowl of clip-on bow ties. I was tempted to buy them all at 5 bucks a piece but decided really I only needed one.

I was reading on the Frankie website and they had found an innovative maker of brilliant bow ties here in Aus. If you thought bow ties were just for the boys, think again, I bring to you all of our lives.

TEE COUTURE

ROSE LA BICHE

I am a long term fan of Etsy as anyone who knows me will contest. I am so enthusiastic about them and not just because I am on there but because of the inspiring people you can find doing such beautiful and curious things.

One designer I have recently found is French born San Francisco residing designer Lucy of Rose La Biche. I just love the way she is combining couture elements on everyday knit items like tees, dresses and tanks. I just recently bought this dress and if summer ever hits properly on this side of the world I will wear it all the day long.
